Summary: Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Great location with the Vieux Port, in one direction, and the beach, in the other. Great pool with plenty of spare sun loungers and towels which we really enjoyed after sightseeing. Good choice at breakfast and it was enjoyable to eat on the terrace in the morning. Room was very clean and shower decent. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely return.

Summary: I had a wonderful time at New Hotel of Marseille. The location was perfect, 2 minutes walk from the beach, there’s a pharmacy next door (which is handy for sunscreen etc), local bakeries across the road.. the list goes on. The hotel is away from the main area of bars (about 15mins walk along the port) which is great, it’s quiet and relaxing. The pool is small, however it is sufficient and enough loungers. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. They very kindly allowed me to use the pool facilities before my room was ready on the day of check-in. I would highly recommend this hotel for guests who want to relax.
